Birth Support
What’s Included
-
Our initial meeting is relaxed and pressure-free, simply a chance to connect, ask questions, and see if we feel like the right fit for one another. I encourage your birth partner to join, as building trust and connection together is an important part of creating a strong, supportive birth team.
-
Beginning at 37 weeks, I am available on call and fully present for you. Please keep me informed of any updates, and know that I’m here for emotional support whenever you need it. Once labour begins, I will be on standby and ready to join you as soon as you feel you would benefit from support.
-
These visits are designed to support you emotionally and practically as you prepare for birth. We’ll discuss your hopes, concerns, and expectations, while also covering physiological birth, navigating care systems, and building trust in your body and your baby. Together, we’ll develop your birth preferences using a foundation of evidence-based care and your own intuition.
For birth partners, we’ll focus on shared learning and preparation so you feel confident, informed, and supported in your role.

I offer continuous, hands-on support to you and your support team throughout your birth. When a birth partner is present, my care extends to everyone involved, offering practical guidance, emotional reassurance, and physical support so the entire team feels grounded and connected. I trust deeply in your ability to give birth and will hold space for you to feel safe, supported, and confident as you move through the process.
I am there to advocate for you, support your informed choices, and help your intuition lead as you welcome your baby.
-
Following the birth, I stay with you to help create a calm, supported transition, ensuring your comfort and supporting early feeding.
Your two postpartum visits provide space to reflect on your birth experience while also offering practical, hands-on support. Feeding guidance, meal preparation, light household care, and personalized referrals are included to support your recovery and ease your transition into postpartum.
